 | R&D Agreement | Universities can get free access to GDI and the commercial OpendTect-plugins (Dip-steering, Neural Networks, SSIS (by dGB) and Workstation Access, Seismic Coloured Inversion, Seismic Spectral Blueing (by ARKCLS)) by simply signing an R&D agreement . An R&D license can be used for academic purposes but not for commercial exploitation. In return dGB and the software should be acknowledged where appropriate and relevant research results should be shared when possible. The scheme has become very popular since the release of OpendTect and its Open Source development possibilities. |
