The Steering and the neural network modules are plugins to the seismic pattern recognition and attribute processing system OpendTect, developed by dGB Earth Sciences BV. Directive attributes, filters and neural networks combined with modern visualization techniques enable the OpendTect user to disclose information which remains hidden using conventional methods. These plugins deliver extra functionality to OpendTect:
Steering: attributes and filters are calculated along user-driven, or data-driven directions
Neural Network analysis: Both supervised and unsupervised neural networks allow generation of meta attribute volumes that highlight any object of interest.
