3.5. Interpretations

In OpendTect SSIS a system tracts interpretation can be made. The initial sequences as defined during the Chrono Stratigraphy calculation can be subdivided into systems tracts. It is possible to make more than one interpretation for each Chrono Stratigraphy.

Highlight the sequence you want to subdivide and select edit. Specify an index. This index represents the boundary timeline between two systems tracts. Define the index by reading the numbers with your mouse-pointer in the Wheeler domain and reading the values at the bottom of the screen.

Once you are satisfied with the interpretation, save it or press the 'Clear' button to redo the interpretation. The Systems Tracts legend can be personalized. The Systems Tracts button pops up a window, where the editing operation can be implemented.
