dGB was present at the AAPG Annual Convention and Exhibition April 1-4 2007, Long Beach, CA. Booth 948. We promoted SSIS (Sequence Stratigraphic interpretation System). This OpendTect plugin allows seismic data to be flattened (Wheeler transformed) in chrono-stratigraphic time, and allows subsequent system tract analysis.
In addition we hosted a number of talks and presented several posters:
K. A. McBeath, G. de Bruin, P. de Groot: Unraveling a Carbonate System through Chrono-Stratigraphic Horizon Tracking and Wheeler Transformation
G. Ayeni, A. Huck The Hit Cube: A Stochastic Pseudo Well Matching Tool for Seismic Prediction of Rock and Fluid Properties
D. Connolly, B. Fraser, F. Aminzadeh: Distinguishing Static and Dynamic Faults: Application for Gulf of Mexico Deep Gas Play
S. J. Dee, G. Yielding, H. Ligtenberg, S. Losh, A. Pouwel, B. Freeman, P. Bretan: Integrating Fault Seal Techniques – Explaining The Duality in Fault Behaviour
EAGE London 2007
dGB was present at the 69th EAGE Conference & Exhibition, June 2007, London. We promoted SSIS (Sequence Stratigraphic interpretation System). This OpendTect plugin allows seismic data to be flattened (Wheeler transformed) in chrono-stratigraphic time, and allows subsequent system tract analysis. Visit us at booth 306
In addition we hosted a poster and a talk:
G.O Ayeni, H. Arnaud & P. de Groot The HIT Cube; Matching Monte Carlo Simulated Pseudo-Wells to Seismic Data for Predictions with Uncertainties
G. de Bruin & E.C. Bouanga Time Attributes of Stratigraphic Surfaces, Analyzed in the Structural and Wheeler Transformed Domain
GCAGS/GCPE convention 2006
