dGB provides a one-day OpendTect introduction training. The training is scheduled monthly in our Houston office and several extra training days are schedule in Buenos Aires, Denver and Calgary. The training is useful as introduction to OpendTect for new users, or as refreshment to experienced users. Focus of the training is on basic interactions and the most important seismic interpretation workflows in OpendTect.
The dedicated training is given by one of the experienced dGB scientists from the Houston staff who work everyday with OpendTect. The course hands-on, interactive and allows for plenty one to one interaction with the instructor. To focus the training on the participants interests, subjects in the afternoon session are selected from a list of options by the participants. After the training, participants will be able to set up an OpendTect project, apply standard interpretation workflows in OpendTect and have basic knowledge of optional add-on workflows using Plugins.
