Jan Stellingwerff Beintema is Executive Vice President Asia - Pacific and a Geoscientist with over 20 years of experience in various aspects of geology, geophysics and reservoir evaluation. In the beginning of his career, he worked for Western and Halliburton in the acquisition of geophysical borehole data. Then he worked 12 years for CGG in France, where he specialized in the petrophysical interpretation of full-waveform sonic data. Here he also became involved in the marketing and commercialization of their in-house geophysical software package. He holds a Msc in geology from Polytech' Montpellier. From 2006 to 2011 Jan was based in Enschede as Senior Sales Manager.
Raman Singh is Manager - Software Development at dGB-India. Raman did his integrated MSc in Applied Geology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2003. Prior to joining dGB as a Geoscientific Software Developer in 2007 he worked as a geoscientist for Reliance Industries at Mumbai, where he was associated with the geoscientific data interpretation team.
Software Development
Satyaki Maitra joined dGB India as a geoscientific software engineer in July 2007. Satyaki holds an MSc degree in Applied Geology from IIT Bombay . He is mainly involved in development and maintenance of 2D Graphics, CrossPlot, 2D Geometry of OpendTect. Currently he is associated with the SSIS project to develop a HorizonCube Editor.
Nageswara Rao has an MSc in Geophysics from Andhra University in Visakhapatnam. Before joining us he worked for Geofizyka Torun as a geophysicist where he was mainly involved in 2D and 3D seismic data processing. Currently he is responsible for the implementation of the Bug reporting tool and is also involved in creating release packages.
Ranojay Sen joined the development team in November 2008. Ranojay has an MSc in Applied Geology from Bengal Engineering & Science University Shibpur and a PGDCA certification in computer application. Before joining dGB he worked as a software engineer involved in design and development of Windows based applications. Currently he is involved in development and maintenance on Windows platform and implemented several Windows dependent features including multi-machine processing and also contributed to 3D visualization improvements.
