dGB released stable version 2.0.3 of OpendTect for all supported operating systems.

After its initial prototype release, the horizon/fault tracker has been significantly improved. It handles more smoothly, and interpretations are built more reliably. Also two new attributes have been introduced:

1. A seismic Trace Scaling attribute. This takes one of the most commonly applied post processing steps within your fingertips in open source software.

2. The Event attribute. Various properties of events can be mapped and visualised easily and fast. This increases geological insight and understanding of lateral variation in seismic event properties.

Furthermore, the Neural Networks plugin has a brand new attribute crossplotting module, that allows you to quickly scan relationships between attributes.
